WELCOME
MagicTwin is a piece of hard- and software that allows you to add additional workstations
to a computer running Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP
Professional.

INSTALLATION
Install additional video cards and drivers. Make sure the
additional video cards and drivers work by using them as one
large Windows "multi-screen" desktop.

Connect additional peripherals (monitors, keyboards, mice,
speakers). Make sure the additional keyboards and mice work via the USB-converters;
or at the junction boxes.

Install the Setup file using the Windows Control Panel,
Add-Remove Programs utility or even run the setup file from the driver CD-ROM.

The Installation program will reboot the computer automatically.

After the restart (for more than one additional station) you will be asked to
start the keyboard- and mouse assignment wizzard. If you dont enter that
wizzard, than you are able to assign the keyboard and mouse under the multiuser
console. After that please reboot the computer to activate new settings for the
additional workstations.

UNINSTALLATION
Uninstall MagicTwin from the Add/Remove Programs application in
the Control panel or under the program group "MagicTwin 2000/XP"
Automatically your PC will be rebooted after uninstalling.

RELEASE ISSUES

Some ATI-Radeon- and NVIDIA GeForce dual-head cards (AGP/PCI) are supported under Windows XP.
The Nvidias "TwinView" and "nView" utilities could cause disruptions to the MagicTwin station
if used. When using theses dual-head cards, the station hardware acceleration will be automatically
setted to a lower accelleration-level, because some motherboards, playing MPEG files simultaneously
on host and additional station when using a dual-head card have had a result in distortions.

Windows XP is required to use either the ATI or nVidia "dual-head adapters
for MagicTwin. With Windows 2000, these display adapters can only be used as a single adapter.
