Use this menu item if you want to create a new document in
iCalamus. Then a dialog opens where you can adjust the general
parameters of the new document.
Except for the upper area Document type
, this dialog
explains itself.

iCalamus offers the possibility to serve different types of
documents using different plug-ins. An example is the Photographerbook
plug-in which offers fixed page formats and page ranges plus cover
pages. Other functions in iCalamus can be available, depending on the
chosen document type, like e.g.
Order Document
(see below).
When you choose the Default
document type, you can create any
kind of document.
